2013 READING CHALLENGE

I have to confess that I have been neglecting reading for ages. In my defense I always said, "I am busy with my job!". Now I am free (you know what, motherhood is the busiest time in your life ever), I try to read as much as I can. I want to teach my kid to love books as early as possible (so we dont have to buy toys, haha!).

My friend sent this book long time ago in 2011 from Dubai, Thanks Terry! This book reminds me of my "social life messes up", while working with the blue. How friendship worth as a diamond in the lonely giant iron called Rig. I enjoyed working in the field, with all the challenge and pressure. There were some bad time as well when you couldnt come home for Eid, when you missed friends wedding, it was a time that money is worthless.

SUNDAY WALK

Last sunday, my mom, Rauf and I went for a morning walk. I know I know, this is not happening right! I have no idea as well how could I woke up in such early morning. It has been planned a long time ago to have a morning walk in Bandung carfree day. So that morning, we packed the stroller and headed to my campus to park our car. It was full of people, bikers, skaters and even strollers, I could not barely walk straight. The carfree day is intended to support sports for city worker, no cars are allowed to be on the street in certain hours. But then there were spontaneous market in the pedestrian made it too crowded.

And then we continued our walk to Institut Teknologi Bandung campus, which were our Alma mater. It did not take some time for me to realize how I missed campus live. Young and free and restless. Pssst I am still young though :) Not much people there on Sunday. The campus so tidy, I did not aware of it before, the trees are everywhere, water fountain in the center of campus,  colorful flowers, and a clear sky. It is a wonderful environment for student to study.

That was it everybody, breastfeeding mama was hungry. Time for food craving! How was your Sunday? I bet it was great as well. Kisses.

WISH LIST : BABY HIGH CHAIR

I just resigned from my job and now I am a full time mama not a full time housewife, since husband is living in Aberdeen. My routine is totally changed, now I spend almost my time with my little one. He such a previous little guy. In fact that baby grows so fast, he is about to start eating solids! What?! Mommy needs to prepare, means shopping time for another baby gear, woohoo. Husband doesnt really agree with this idea since we are going to move to the UK soon, it is better to buy some gear there, he said. But I just cant resist the thrill of searching and browsing for high chair, can you? Finding its pro and cons makes it more difficult to decide which one is better. I am so in love with this stokke tripp trapp for its lifetime usage, but this is expensive. Now it is time to think how to make husband agree on this one!

One day I found about this creative mama Mila's Daydreams, and I give a shot to my baby boy. Its so fun that you can explore new activity or situation while your baby is sleeping (it is not easy, I have to warn you). I have an idea in my mind for Rauf dreams, I will make such an group activity, so far I have done for outdoor activity and Raufs ambitions. Stay tune with me mommy!

HIP HIP HOORAAAY, I WON!

Yeay, I am so happy, happy mama! I won a Skip Hop package from Little Hannah Shop. Recently the online shop had celebrated their second anniversary and they trowed prizes. What the customer needed to do was simply made a review about their products and their online shop as well. I sent 3 reviews about the products that I bought from them which were Ergobaby, Babaluna Sling, and Blueberry coverall. Those items are my favorite and useful baby gear based on my opinion. Ooops almost forgot, LHS is my favorite online shop, it is responsive and communicative. All their products are highly selected based on mommy and baby's need. I love shopping in LHS! once again THANKS, cant wait!

GOODBYE BALIKPAPAN, I AM SURE GONNA MISS YOU

It was not an easy decision, it was. I have enjoyed my life in Balikpapan for almost 3.5 years. It has been a roller coaster, bitter sweet. Reminiscing the first time when I stepped my feet there, had no clue about oilfield. I am saying thank you to my beloved recruiter who gave me an opportunity at the first place. All the friendship with co-workers had been an amazing experience. We are all at almost the same age and spirit, we make friends not enemy, we share laugh and tears, we dance, we sing, we joke around, we sleepover, we are making best friends. 

Again, I feel so blessed. All the good memories stays. See you later, alligator!
